GIS Esri ArcObjects Developer

Epoch Solutions Group Inc., a growing provider of geospatial information system (GIS) based services and products to the utility industry. Epoch Solutions Group seeks a Microsoft Visual Studio c#/ ESRI ArcObjects developer to design and develop applications for our growing base of GIS solutions. We are seeking someone with a strong knowledge of GIS and motivation to continue to build our company into a leading provider of GIS software products and solutions for the utility industries.

The successful candidate will have experience in the entire software development life cycle, be able to positively interact with clients and our teams, and have a solid understanding of applications architecture and best practices for code development and deployment.

Candidates should have worked in a development role for 2-5 years. Suitable candidates will be highly proficient in Visual Studio c# and GIS concepts with an in depth knowledge of ESRI ArcObjects.

Essential Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics
• Microsoft Visual Studio c#
• ESRI ArcObjects
• Ability to work in fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Software development skills for requirements analysis, design and support
• Ability to work both individually and part of a team
• Good communication skills (written and verbal) and time management

Highly Desirable Skills:

• Microsoft Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)
• Microsoft Silverlight 4.0 / c# and MVVM design pattern (ESRI Silverlight API)
• Development experience using Oracle Spatial
• Knowledge in the electric or gas utility industry
• IPhone, Android Windows Mobile development experience
• Knowledge of other GIS platforms such as GE Smallworld
